Yorkshire Area
Championships 2026
We are proud and delighted to have placed 2nd in the Third Section of the Yorkshire Regional National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain.
The band are now looking forward to the National finals in September and being promoted to the 2nd section next year (subject to confirmation from the regional committee).
A special thanks to our MD Craig Ratcliffe for his hard work and preparation in getting us here and well done to all the band.

Bandroom Makeover
Following a generous grant from the Liz and Terry Bramall Foundation, we are delighted to show you pictures of our revamped bandroom.
Work has been undertaken by band members to insulate the loft up to current standards and we’ve laid some lovely new carpet tiles to replace the previous ones which were over 30 years old!
Alongside a good tidy up, we’ve also created some extra storage to keep things organised.

Band Patron Scheme
With the introduction of a Patrons Scheme anyone can become a Patron and help our community band. For a donation annually you will be kept up to date by quarterly newsletter on the bands progress, future events and also get 2 free tickets to any concert you choose.
Your much needed annual donations will be put towards the advancement of the band.
